The Media and Information Literate Individual

   According to the PowerPoint presentation of Miss Reyes, one of them is to improve the quality of life. Having enough knowledge on how to handle the media can start awareness on how to use it for advantages, thus, it makes you to be a media and information literate individual. Social media as a platform for a certain business; fake news will not spread and in this way the alternative way is to educate other users saying it is not legit by sharing it; Online war can be prevented; An easier way to find a new job or school to attend especially nowadays; and to evaluate an information to avoid misconceptions. 

     It also includes the political, economic, and learning improvement. Once a person becomes a media and information literate he or she will not be bias. Scaling the deeds of every politicians to our country and evaluating it to support the analytical understanding. Therefore, choosing for the next politicians will be unfiltered. Economically speaking, advertisement from radios, televisions, magazines, newspapers, and on social media increases the growth of sales for every enterprises. For the students, using media in a proper way can be help them to have an easier access to their homeworks, and researches. 

     In my opinion, I can only make a huge difference to the community once I graduated college. Having a degree makes you to be respected by others. It is one of the good points to show my intention for them. I also wanted to write a book about being a media and information literate. The bright side of being one, and the downfall of being not. As for me, it will enhance my ability by continuing to be a media and information literate.
